Job summary

Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice company, is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our team in a full-time day shift in South Carolina. This role offers a flexible schedule, one-to-one patient ratios, and competitive pay of $25 to $34 per hour.

You will verify plans of care with the RN, collaborate with physicians, teach patients self-care, perform vital signs and medication reviews, and complete documentation. Amedisys values growth and purpose, with supportive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical LPN experience.
• LPN license valid in the assigned state(s).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to meet patient needs and report changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs and document findings.
• Review medications and perform reconciliations at visits.
• Prepare equipment using aseptic technique and conduct treatments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
