Pathways Healthcare is seeking a Home Health + Hospice Aide to provide compassionate in-home care within the Waltham area, reporting to a registered nurse or therapist and delivering essential personal care services. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and is based in Waltham and surrounding communities.

Preferred candidates are Massachusetts CNAs; HHA certificates are accepted. Must be 18+, CPR certified, and hold a valid driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts CNA preferred; HHA certificate accepted.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Self-directing with ability to work with little supervision.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
• CPR certification required.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle in good working order.

Job Description:

• Role: Home Health + Hospice Aide
• Rate: $25/hour
• Service Area: Waltham and surrounding areas
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30-5:00pm)
• Job Type: Full-Time

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant in Massachusetts (preferred); Home Health Aide certificate accepted
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification
• Licensed driver with automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization requirements and is in good working order

Responsibilities:

The Home Health Aide is a Certified Nursing Assistant and paraprofessional member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs. The HHA is responsible for observing patients, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed. The HHA will be assigned by a Registered Nurse in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a patient’s care.
