Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking Home Health Aides to join the team providing hands-on personal care in clients' homes. You will report changes in condition, assist with daily living activities, and support care plans within policy and regulatory guidelines.

You will travel within the service area, participate in mandatory trainings, and cooperate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality home health care. English communication and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifikationen

• Requires passing a home health aide written knowledge exam.
• Background checks (state and/or agency) as required.
• Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of staff.
• Able to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to patients, families and agency staff.
• Able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must provide proof of valid driver’s license (and auto liability insurance if driving).

Aufgaben

• Reads and records temperature, pulse, and respirations.
• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, nail/skin care, oral hygiene, toileting and nutrition.
• Promotes safe environment and maintains unobstructed pathways.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Assists with incidental activities: shopping, meal prep, homemaking, socialization, housekeeping.
• Documents observations and services accurately and timely.
