Job summary

ATEX Healthcare Home Health in San Antonio seeks a driven Business Development Specialist to grow census through physician and hospital referrals, community education, and targeted outreach campaigns, leveraging the local healthcare network to expand patient access.

You will develop and execute marketing plans, conduct community awareness activities, coordinate pre-discharge assessments, and support contracting with health plans, while maintaining excellent communication with clinical and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred, high school or equivalent required with business development experience.
• At least 1 year marketing or administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of home health care services and managed care plans.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and implements marketing plan with approval from Regional Director.
• Plans and conducts community awareness activities informing physicians, healthcare workers, and patients of agency programs.
• Conducts non-remunerative efforts to obtain referrals from physicians and hospital discharge planners.
• Prepares community relation activity reports.
• Performs pre-discharge hospital assessments and coordinates required treatment plans.
• Designs agency information and marketing literature for use in the marketing program.
