Home Health Director of Business Development

Overview

Territory: Orlando, Vero Beach, Melbourne, FL

The Director of Business Development will office from the home health agency closest to his/her home and travel to agency to agency on a weekly basis. Weekly travel requirement is 50% with 25% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Lead business development within your division, including forecasting, identifying market opportunities, and supporting your team to meet revenue and admission goals. Represent the company professionally, monitor program execution, and develop relationships to support care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Related field experience required
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing Medicare home health and hospice
• Basic technology skills, including mobile device operation

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or healthcare management preferred
• Extensive field experience or licensed professional considered
• Experience with Medicare home health or hospice and management preferred

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Dependable transportation and ability to drive in all weather conditions
