Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a licensed COTA to provide one-on-one occupational therapy in patients’ homes across El Paso and surrounding areas. The PRN role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity for work-life balance or additional income.

You will assist with ADLs, strengthen and coordinate movements, and ensure safe performance of daily tasks while following established therapy plans. Documentation and caregiver education are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Texas COTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
