Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead therapy services for home health and hospice care in the New York area. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, manage scheduling, referrals, and documentation, and support care teams in a high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state(s) assigned
• 1+ years of RN management experience
• 1+ years of RN clinical experience in home health or hospice
• CPR certification in good standing

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and coordinate therapy services to ensure high-quality patient care
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical performance
• Review service requests and determine patient eligibility for home care
• Coordinate referrals, admissions, and intake with operations
• Oversee payor verification and precertification requirements
• Ensure timely and complete documentation by staff
• Support care planning and ongoing updates to Plans of Care
• Participate in on-call coverage and staff training
