Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a healthcare business development professional to manage relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals and health systems. You will educate stakeholders on services and program requirements to drive referrals and support post-acute care transitions.

The role emphasizes improving patient outcomes, ensuring high satisfaction for patients and referral sources, and requires in-office attendance to collaborate effectively with teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulatory guidelines for Medicare home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources including physicians, hospitals and health systems.
• Supports referral growth by educating stakeholders about services and program requirements to improve patient outcomes.
• Navigate post-acute care transitions with focus on care quality and patient/referral source satisfaction.
