Assisting Hands Schaumburg is seeking dedicated caregivers to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home in the Northwest Suburbs. We offer competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (Personal caregiving experience may be considered).
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and patient.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and client-specific instructions.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation.
• Transportation to appointments or errands, when applicable.
• Following individual care plans and client routines.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in a client’s condition to the office team.
• Providing respectful, dependable care while maintaining client dignity and independence.
