Job summary

Vertical Home Health is seeking a compassionate home health aide to join our team in Indiana. The role focuses on providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, with attention to safety and dignity.

You will assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, and transportation while maintaining a compassionate, client-centered approach. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of healthcare or in-home care experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care and support to clients.

• Adherence to health and safety standards and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (washing, dressing, feeding) for elderly or post-surgery patients.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor for changes in condition.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or activities.
• Help with meal planning and preparation and light housekeeping.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to complete errands.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly and follow emergency procedures.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate home health aide to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
