Job summary

The Willows of Ramsey Hill, part of Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, is seeking an On-call Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our Nursing team in St. Paul. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and support residents’ safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, vital sign checks, and teamwork with RNs. Must be 18+, English proficient, and flexible for weekends/holidays; prior CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
• Commitment to working every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, HHA, or PCA certification in Minnesota.
• Experience with older adults in hospital, nursing home, or home care setting.
• Previous medication administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Provide medication reminders or administration as delegated by RN.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe body mechanics.
• Record vital signs and report concerns promptly.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies for the unit.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Follow care plans and communicate with nursing staff on changes.

The Willows provides a warm, supportive environment for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other forms of memory loss, with a strong focus on dignity, independence, and person-centered care.We are currently hiring an On call Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our Nursing team at The Willows of Ramsey Hill.
