The Harbor & The Haven in Norwood Young America (about 50 minutes SW of Minneapolis) is seeking a Resident Assistant to help residents stay independent and engaged. You will assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, support mobility, and help with light housekeeping, with training provided for medication administration.

We offer part-time and on-call roles with various schedules, starting at $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Reliable, compassionate and a true desire to support seniors.
• Be patient and calm, especially in difficult situations.
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
• Physically capable of doing work that requires standing, lifting, bending, pushing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience or CNA/HHA certification is a plus (but not required).
• Must pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with daily personal tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assisting with mobility, transferring, and light housekeeping.
• Administering prescribed medications and monitoring for side effects (training provided).
• Engaging residents in meaningful conversations and life enrichment activities.
