Job summary

Horizon Home Health Care in Miami County, OH is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care that helps clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, documentation, and offering companionship; you will monitor client condition and report changes to the care team with a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio STNA license is required.
• Ohio CNA license (less than two years old) or equivalent under RN supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow a personalized care plan and document care.
• First aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and related tasks.
• Monitor and report changes to supervising nurse/c care team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; maintain accurate care documentation.
