Job summary

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients throughout Staten Island, NY. You will work with clients in their homes with flexible schedules; we match you to cases based on where you live and your availability.

Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with options for full-time, part-time, and per diem. A valid New York State HHA certificate and authorization to work in the United States are required.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect
• Previous home care experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance
• Assisting with meals and daily routines
• Providing medication reminders as permitted
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided
• Following the client's established plan of care

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, one-on-one care to clients throughout Staten Island, NY.

We have clients throughout Staten Island, including St. George, New Dorp, New Springville, and surrounding communities.

We understand that location matters. Our team works to connect you with available clients based on where you live, your preferred work area, your availability, and current case openings.

You don't have to travel across the entire borough — tell us where you want to work, and we'll work to find an available case that fits.

What You'll Do

As a Home Health Aide with Rockaway Home Care, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Providing mobility and transfer assistance

• Assisting with meals and daily routines

• Providing medication reminders as permitted
