Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking Home Health Aides to support clients on the Indy East Side. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship to help clients live safely at home. Training will be provided; required CareAcademy online hours and hands-on sessions are paid by PurposeCare.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years old
• Positive attitude, great communication skills, and ability to work independently
• A solid personal character with an empathetic personality
• Must be able to pass both a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping
• In order towork as a Home Health Aide for PurposeCare in the state of Indiana, you will be requiredto complete 59 hoursof online training through CareAcademyprior to starting employment, and 16 hours of hands-on training following your start date. The enrollment fee for this program will be paid for by PurposeCare, and no cost to you. If you have already completed this Home Health Aide Competency Evaluation Program, you can submitthe appropriate documentationand will be exempt from repeating training
