Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking Home Health Aides, PCAs, DSPs, and CNAs to care for clients at home in Indiana. We have immediate openings and provide competitive compensation, flexible schedules, ongoing training, and mentor programs.

As a caregiver, you will offer companionship and personal care, assist with meal prep and light housekeeping, and support clients to live safely at home. We provide medical, dental, vision, 401K, life and disability insurance, plus telehealth and career growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Comfortable performing personal care, grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
• Ability to work independently with compassionate care.
• Training required: 59 hours online + 16 hours hands-on via CareAcademy before start.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years old
• Positive attitude, great communication skills, and ability to work independently
• A solid personal character with an empathetic personality
• Must be able to pass both a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping
• In order to work as a Home Health Aide for PurposeCare in the state of Indiana, you will be required to complete 59 hours of online training through CareAcademy prior to starting employment, and 16 hours of hands-on training following your start date. The enrollment fee for this program will be paid for by PurposeCare, and no cost to you. If you have already completed this Home Health Aide Competency Evaluation Program, you can submit the appropriate documentation and will be exempt from repeating training.
