Position Overview

The Home Health Aide (HHA) works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist, providing personal care services to meet patient needs. Responsibilities include observing and documenting patient conditions, communicating effectively with clients and team members, and adhering to care plans and standards. Hours are flexible, typically 1p-4p on some Saturdays and weekday evenings, up to 16 hours/month.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Observe, document, and report patient condition changes.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and office staff.
• Complete Maxim's Competency Program successfully.
• Follow patient's care plan and complete assigned tasks.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and professional boundaries.
• Participate in required trainings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Meet all training and certification requirements, including CPR.
• Complete Maxim's screening and competency programs.
• Meet federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Proficiency in English and good communication skills.
• Technological proficiency with mobile documentation devices.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr
