Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking Home Health Aides to support seniors at home across southern Illinois. The role offers flexible scheduling, 1:1 client ratios, and opportunities to build caregiving skills through online training.

As an HHA, you’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home. We value caring, reliable teammates who want work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid IL driver's license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
