Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Health Aide to support seniors across southern Illinois. This role offers flexibility and work-life balance, so you can design your career around your life while making a meaningful difference at home.

As a Home Health Aide, you’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, reminders for medications, and companionship in clients' homes. Build skills with online training and enjoy generous PTO and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid IL driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
