Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking Home Health Aides across southern Illinois. Design your career around your life with the flexibility and work-life balance this HHA role offers.

You will provide personal care, assist with ADLs, and support clients in their homes, enabling safe, independent living. Training and advancement opportunities are available, with PTO and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid IL driver's license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate, helpful, good communicator and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Home Health Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
