Visiting Angels Carmel seeks a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to support seniors in the Hamilton County area. You will provide compassionate care, assist with mobility, personal care, meals, and light housekeeping, while acting as a comforting companion.

Responsibilities include helping with medications, attending appointments, and ensuring safety. We value empathy, reliability, and strong communication to enhance client well-being and independence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility to appointments or activities.

• Support clients with routine exercises and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input as able.
• Assist with shopping or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Provide a pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Report unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Home Health Aide - HHA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Home Health Aide - HHA Requirements
