Visiting Angels Humble is seeking a Home Health Aide - HHA to support seniors in the Humble area, including nearby Cleveland and surrounding communities. The role focuses on compassionate care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation support.

We offer advancement training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care and opportunities to grow your caregiving skills while delivering reliable, respectful service to families in need.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients with prescribed medications as needed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers around home or appointments.

• Plan and prepare meals with clients when possible.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Do light housekeeping as needed to maintain a clean home.
• Provide a friendly, supportive companionship.
• Report unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Home Health Aide - HHA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Home Health Aide - HHA Requirements
