Personal Touch Home Care in Lawrenceburg, Indiana is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care. The role focuses on promoting independence, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring client comfort and safety in the home.

You will perform personal care, mobility transfers, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, health monitoring, and accurate documentation. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• State-approved Home Health Aide training program is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or preferred.
• Prior home health care experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor with client-centered focus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: transfers and safe movement in the home.
• Meal Preparation: prepare nutritious meals per dietary needs.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while moving around their homes.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor their adherence to medication schedules.
• Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, changes in condition, and any incidents.

Qualifications
