Personal Touch Home Care in Kentucky is seeking a Full-time Home Health Aide to deliver compassionate in-home care, helping clients with daily living activities and promoting independence.

You will perform personal care, mobility support, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, health monitoring and accurate documentation within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in home health care is a plus.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: support transfers and safe movement.
• Meal Preparation: plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Medication Reminders: help with medication schedules.
• Household Tasks: light housekeeping and errands.
• Companionship: provide emotional support and engagement.
• Monitoring Health: observe changes and report them.

Job Details Overview:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while moving around their homes.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor their adherence to medication schedules.
• Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, changes in condition, and any incidents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.
