Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) in Crittenden, KY. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily activities, monitor health, and support patients to maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility and transfers, ensuring safety in the home.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating per dietary needs.
• Remind and monitor medications per schedule.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.
• Provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Monitor health and report changes to caregivers or family.

Job Details Overview:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Personal Touch Home Care, you’ll provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while moving around their homes.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor their adherence to medication schedules.
• Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, changes in condition, and any incidents.

Qualifications
