Tendercare Home Health in Indianapolis, IN seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide high-quality, one-on-one care in patients' homes. The role supports adult and pediatric patients and emphasizes individualized care and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered.
• CPR certified.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, pass a fit to work physical, and be free of communicable diseases.

Responsabilités

• Maintain records of personal health care activities.
• Maintain patient care areas in a clean, safe environment, adequate for the provision of care.
• Provide assistance in administering medications ordinarily self-administered (by the patient).
• Follow and document assignments in accordance with the home health aide care plan.
• Transfer patients in a safe manner, in accordance with standards of care.
• Report changes the patient's condition to RN or other appropriate skilled professionals.
• Electronically document care given during each visit/shift.
• Participate in continuing education as required.
