Job summary

Better Care At Home LLC in Indiana is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant to work with patients in one-on-one home care plans. You will follow detailed care plans, assist with daily activities, monitor well-being, and document observations for the supervisor.

Strong verbal and written communication are essential. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus, CPR certification required, HS diploma or GED accepted.

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant program
High School Diploma or GED
CPR certification required

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
Give medications and immunizations
Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Education

High School Diploma or GED

CNA certification (Home Health Aide or CNA program)
