Job summary

Valley Health System in Kraft Center seeks a dedicated Home Health Aide to provide intermittent direct or indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or home health setting, with NJ Home Health Aide certification. A valid driver’s license is required for patient transportation and home visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Home Health Aide training and certification as required by NJ State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermittent direct or indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, Rehab staff and other health professionals.
• Read, write and understand English to document care and communicate with the care team.
