Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide intermittent direct or indirect patient care to meet plan of care and support a safe, clean environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, NJ Home Health Aide certification, and a valid driver's license. The role emphasizes teamwork with nurses, rehab staff, and other professionals in a dynamic care setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of the State approved Home Health Aide Training course.
• Home Health Aide competency exam and NJ State Board certification.
• Ability to work in a changing patient care environment and meet patient needs.
• Ability to work cooperatively within the health system with patients, families and team members.
• Ability to use time management to set priorities and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Driver's license with valid registration, insurance and driving record as required.

Responsibilities
