Responsibilities:

• Maintaining positive relationships with clients, families, and the office team.
• Assisting clients with adult daily living activities as per their care plan.
• Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, incontinent care, and feeding.
• Assisting with transfers, ambulation, and use of lifting devices when needed.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping, including laundry.
• Grocery shopping and running quick local errands.
• Providing companionship.
• Promoting the personal dignity of each client by ensuring privacy and respect.
• Offering one-on-one assistance in the clients' homes.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Performing other essential duties listed on the client's care plan.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal background and professional reference checks
• Previous home care experience (preferred)
• Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred); Home Health Aide (required). Homemakers do not need certification.
• Supportive Home Care Aide certification is a plus
• Ability to respect patient and family confidentiality
