CareRing Health, LLC is seeking a Home Health Aide to deliver quality home health care services under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders and regulations. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, engaging residents in social activities, and promptly reporting changes to a licensed nurse.

Required qualifications include a current CNA license in good standing, Virginia Home Health Aide license, CPR certification,

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• Virginia Home Health Aide license.
• CPR Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting also preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse
• Completes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner
• Prepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feeding
• Makes beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily and as needed

Overview

The Home Health Aide delivers quality home health care services to the Agency's clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse
