Zusammenfassung

CareRing Health, LLC is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to deliver quality in-home care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist, following physician orders and state regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal prep, documenting care, observing changes, and communicating with the nursing team.

Virginia license and CPR required; CNA certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• Virginia Home Health Aide license.
• CPR Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting also preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Completes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner.
• Prepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feeding.
• Makes beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily and as needed.

Ausbildung

High school diploma or equivalent

Overview

The Home Health Aide delivers quality home health care services to the Agency's clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse
