Colonial Group in Kentucky is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support clients at home with daily living activities, health monitoring, and transportation to appointments. You will help maintain a safe, clean home environment and promote the health and happiness of those served.

Applicants should have a compassionate, professional demeanor; flexibility; and the ability to multitask. CNA/Home Health Aide experience is preferred. Driving duties require reliable transportation and a valid license.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 for non-driving roles; at least 21 for driving roles.
• Current Home Health Aide and/or CNA certification preferred.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle registration and insurance.
• Minimum one year full-time equivalent health care experience preferred.
• Prior experience working with seniors or adults with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Able to bend, lift 50 pounds; stand for extended periods during physical assistance.
• Background check successful; state regulatory requirements where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living and personal care (arrival/departure, eating, ambulation, transferring, therapies, restroom assistance).
• Provide home support and maintain a healthy environment (light cleaning, laundry, shopping, home safety).
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks; assist with feeding as needed.
• Observe for changes in condition; escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Run errands for clients (shopping, appointments).
• Ensure client safety by maintaining sanitary, clutter-free environments.
• Communicate positively with clients, families, co-workers, referral agencies, and community.
• Comply with company policies, safety and regulatory laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
