Job summary

Vertical is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our Indiana team. The role focuses on one-on-one client care, assistance with daily living, and reliability in shifts on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday.

The candidate should have a HS diploma or HH Aide experience, a valid driver’s license, and a genuine desire to help others. Training and support are provided as part of our mission to deliver dignified care to neighbors in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Care experience in home health, healthcare, or hospitality at least 1 year.
• Ability to work one-on-one with clients and provide compassionate care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HH Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for clients (showering, bathing, dressing, eating).
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist with mobility and accompany to appointments/walks.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete shopping or accompany for errands.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report incidents and respond to emergencies.
• Offer activities for daily living and assist with meals when needed.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate home health aide to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

• Remindclients to take prescribed medication

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

• Assist with personal care and hygiene

• Plan and prepare meals

• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so

• Perform housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one‑on‑one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in‑home care environment (minimum of 1 year)

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
