Visiting Angels Marmora is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) for one-to-one patient care in New Jersey. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible shifts. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a safe home environment, monitoring medication and symptoms, and documenting care. Qualifications

• Completion of state-approved Home Health Aide (HHA) program and certificate is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes.
• Clear, confident communication and a passion for relationship‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Maintain a hazard‑free, sanitized space.
• Provide reminders for medication and monitor symptoms.
• Engage mentally and physically with therapeutic activities.
• Record care notes and document concerns in the system.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands‑On ADL Support – Safely assist transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility—always protecting dignity.


• Home Environment & Infection Control – Change linens, do light laundry, and maintain a hazard‑free, sanitized space.


• Medication & Symptom Monitoring – Provide reminders, observe for changes, and document vitals or red‑flag signs for your supervising nurse.


• Therapeutic Engagement – Read aloud, reminisce, guide range‑of‑motion exercises, or accompany short walks to boost mental and physical wellness.


• Accurate Documentation – Record care notes, progress, and concerns in our digital charting system before each shift ends.
