Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking caregivers to provide personal care and support daily living activities. You can work 20-30 hours during the week and must work 1 full weekend a month.

Compensation is up to $19.00/hour, depending on experience. You will assist residents with daily tasks, light housekeeping, meal planning and prep, escort to appointments, and promote psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or GNA per state regulations.
• Experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support residents with routine housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, pet walking, closet organization, and kitchen chores.
• Escort residents to appointments and social activities.
• Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships.
• Follow and execute standard Infection Control & Prevention practices.
• Notify office/nurse in a timely fashion of any changes in a resident's condition.
• Maintain competency in the required job skills and knowledge.

How you will make an impact:

• Provide personal care and assists with activities of daily living

What you will need:

• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Certified as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant, Geriatric Nursing Assistant, or as per State and Federal law and regulations


• Experience as a care provider serving the senior population is preferred
