Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay support a work-life balance.

You will travel within the assigned area, document care per agency standards, and collaborate with an on-call clinical/admin team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• 1 year of caregiving experience (within last 2 years) under RN supervision.
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Willing to complete background check & onboarding.

Responsibilities

Join a fast-growing home health team providing one-on-one care in patients’ homes. As a Home Health Aide (HHA) , you’ll help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent — while building meaningful relationships every day.

• Flexible schedule
• 1:1 Patient Care
• Supportive Clinical/Admin Team

What You'll Do:

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support mobility, transfer, and ambulation
• Provide meal prep and feeding assistance
• Give medication reminders (no administering)
• Monitor and report changes to office nurse
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Document care per agency standards
• Travel to patient homes within assigned area

What You Need:

• Age 18 or older
• 1 year of caregiving experience (within last 2 years) under RN supervision
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in patient homes
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Willing to complete background check & onboarding

Preferred (Not Required)

• Active HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification
• CPR and Adult First Aid certification
• Experience supporting seniors or medically complex clients
• Experience working with dementia or memory care patients
