Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes with a flexible schedule and weekly pay. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and medication reminders, while documenting care per agency standards.

Ideal candidates have caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and the willingness to complete background checks and onboarding. Preference for active HHA/CNA certification and CPR/First Aid knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience (within last 2 years) under RN supervision.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and transport to patient homes.
• Willing to complete background check and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfer, and ambulation.
• Provide meal prep and feeding assistance.

Join a fast-growing home health team providing one-on-one care in patients' homes. As a Home Health Aide (HHA) , you'll help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent - while building meaningful relationships every day.

• Flexible schedule

What You'll Do:

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support mobility, transfer, and ambulation
• Provide meal prep and feeding assistance
• Give medication reminders (no administering)
• Monitor and report changes to office nurse
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Document care per agency standards
• Travel to patient homes within assigned area

What You Need:

• Age 18 or older
• 1 year of caregiving experience (within last 2 years) under RN supervision
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in patient homes
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Willing to complete background check & onboarding

Preferred (Not Required)

• Active HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification
• CPR and Adult First Aid certification
• Experience supporting seniors or medically complex clients
• Experience working with dementia or memory care patients
