Job summary

AdventHealth in Manchester, KY is seeking a Part-time Home Health Aide to support patients at home. You will help with daily living activities, monitor progress, and report to clinicians. Responsibilities include bathing, meal prep, light housekeeping and accompanying patients to appointments.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a documented Home Health Aide training program, and CPR/BLS certification. A CNA or HHA licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in the English language.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Demonstrates basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient comfort and safety during care activities.
• Monitors and reports patient progress to health professionals.
• Assists Home Health patients with activities of daily living such as bathing and personal care.
• Helps Home Health patients with instrumental activities of daily living including meal preparation, grocery shopping, housework, laundry, and telephone use.
• Provides orientation and training for newly hired staff.
• Maintains accurate patient records and adheres to care protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 1+ employment experience as a nurse's aide in an institutional setting. [Required]
• Home Care experience [Preferred]
