Job summary

AdventHealth in Manchester, Kentucky is seeking a part-time Home Health Aide to support patient comfort and safety during care activities. You will monitor progress, assist with activities of daily living, and maintain accurate records under care protocols.

Requirements include High School Grad or equivalent and vocational training; 1+ year of nursing aide experience; valid BLS and driver's license. We offer benefits from day one, PTO, retirement plan, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in health care preferred.
• Home Health Aide competency evaluation knowledge may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient comfort and safety during care activities.
• Monitors and reports patient progress to health professionals.
• Assists Home Health patients with activities of daily living such as bathing and personal care.
• Helps Home Health patients with instrumental activities of daily living including meal preparation, grocery shopping, housework, laundry, and telephone use.
• Provides orientation and training for newly hired staff.
• Maintains accurate patient records and adheres to care protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
