Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Birmingham, MI is seeking caring individuals to connect with clients and provide daily living support. You will build meaningful relationships while assisting with meal prep, grooming, transportation, and light housekeeping during an 8–9 hour shift.

We welcome compassionate people who are willing to learn, with training provided. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred, and all applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care preferred but training is provided.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• National background check required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Companionship with seniors through engaging activities and conversations.
• Help with daily activities like bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Prepare snacks and meals to sustain clients during scheduled time.
• Encourage light exercise to keep clients active.
• Tidy the home to maintain a pleasant environment for the client.
• Transport clients to appointments and social activities.

We are scheduling interviews immediately for an auto accident client in Birmingham with experience in Bowel Program or willingness to get trained by us. This is a 8 to 9 hours shift with higher pay. This caregiver needs to be Cat friendly. What you should know about SYNERGY HomeCare:

Requirements:

• Experience– We'd love if you’ve prior experience but you don't have to . As long as you are willing to learn, we'll train you
• Skills– We’re looking for individuals that are compassionate, social, trustworthy and service-minded
• Characteristics– This is an autonomous position, so we’re looking for individuals that are self-motivated and willing to learn
• Have or willing to acquire CPR/First Aid certification
• National background check
• A valid driver's license and means of transportation (a reliable car with proof of insurance/registration is preferred)
