Job summary

Angels Care Home Health in Nebraska seeks a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to support patients in their homes under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will provide personal healthcare, help maintain a safe living environment, and report observations to the supervisor. English proficiency and a valid driver’s license are required.

Experience as HHA or CNA is preferred; CNA/HHA program completion counts. We value reliability, compassion, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Meets the training requirements of the State.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma Preferred.
  • Must have current driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation with current and valid auto liability insurance.
  • At least one year’s experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant or completion of CNA/HHA program.
  • Must be able to read and write in English and follow written/ verbal instructions.
  • CPR certification and Hepatitis profile (if applicable in your state).
  • Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Provides a calm manner when in a patient’s home.
