Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide personal healthcare in patients' homes under RN supervision. The role emphasizes patient observations, documentation, and ensuring a safe home environment in Denison, IA.

Applicants should be at least 18, have a high school diploma (preferred), a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and CNA/HHA certification or completion. CPR/Hepatitis verification may be required in Florida.

Qualifications

• Meets the training requirements of the State.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma Preferred.
• Must have current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• One year of experience as HHA/CNA preferred; or completion of CNA/HHA program.
• CPR certification (Florida only) and Hepatitis profile.
• Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to the client in their place of residence.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Work cooperatively with patient and family; share observations with supervisor.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

We want you to grow your career with us!Job DescriptionThe home health aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort.
