Job summary

Right at Home Attleboro is hiring Home Health Aides for full-time and part-time positions to support seniors and adults with disabilities in the community.

We offer flexible cases, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and on-demand pay options through TapCheck. You will provide compassionate, reliable care and help with daily living activities and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience as HHA/PCA in health care (homes or facilities).
• State-approved Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide (HHA), or PCA course completed.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for work.
• Read, write, speak English as needed for the job.
• HHA certificate highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, eating, dressing, and light housekeeping.
• Assist with meal preparation and kitchen tasks.

Shift Type:

Part-time and Full-Time (Day, Weekend, Evenings, Overnights available)

Responsibilities of the Home Health Aides:

• You don’t mind getting a little dirty … this could include (but is not limited to) assisting the patient with activities of daily living such as providing assistance with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair), ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores.
• You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.

Requirements of the Home Health Aides:

• High school degree or G.E.D. certificate
• Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Aide (PCA) in health care (homes or facilites) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course.
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Have a valid driver’s license and use an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
• The Home Health Aide shall have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the state licensing laws for home health agencies.
• Reliable transportation
