Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Home Health Aide to support patients in their homes. You will provide hands-on personal care and assist with services needed to maintain health under a plan of care prescribed by a licensed professional.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, 1 year of CNA experience in home health, Georgia Nurse Aide Registry certification, and a valid Georgia driver’s license. You will collaborate with home health staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience as a CNA in a skilled home health setting is required.
• Current active certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry Upon Hire is required.
• Valid Georgia driver's license upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Support patients to maintain health and facilitate treatment as prescribed, under supervision.

Responsibilities

The home health aide assists home health professional staff in the care of the patient by providing hands-on personal care to the patient or services needed to maintain the patient's health or facilitate treatment of the patient's illness or injury under a plan of care prescribed by a licensed professional.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year experience as a certified nurse assistant in skilled home health agency, hospital, nursing home or SNF Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Current active certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry Upon Hire Required and
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Georgia Driver’s License Upon Hire Required
