Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Home Health Aide to assist patients under a licensed plan of care, performing hands-on personal care and supporting the home health team to maintain health and enable treatment. You will be part of a patient‑focused team in the Athens region.

Required are a H.S. Diploma or GED, 1 year CNA experience in a skilled setting, and current Georgia Nurse Aide Registry certification plus a valid Georgia driver’s license.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year experience as a certified nurse assistant in skilled home health agency, hospital, nursing home or SNF.

Responsibilities

• Assist home health professional staff in patient care by providing hands-on personal care and services to maintain health or facilitate treatment under a licensed plan of care.
• Support the home health team to ensure patient comfort, safety, and treatment adherence.

Responsibilities

The home health aide assists home health professional staff in the care of the patient by providing hands-on personal care to the patient or services needed to maintain the patient's health or facilitate treatment of the patient's illness or injury under a plan of care prescribed by a licensed professional.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year experience as a certified nurse assistant in skilled home health agency, hospital, nursing home or SNF Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Current active certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry Upon Hire Required and
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Georgia Driver's License Upon Hire Required
