Job summary

PurposeCare is actively seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one care in patients’ homes. This role offers a flexible schedule and weekly pay as part of a fast-growing home health team focused on safety, comfort, and independence for clients.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience within last 2 years under RN supervision
• Preferred: Active HHA or CNA certification
• CPR and Adult First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support mobility, transfer, and ambulation
• Provide meal prep and feeding assistance
• Give medication reminders (no administering)
• Monitor and report changes to office nurse
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Document care per agency standards
• Travel to patient homes within assigned area

Join a fast-growing home health team providing one-on-one care in patients’ homes. As a Home Health Aide (HHA) , you’ll help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent — while building meaningful relationships every day.

What You'll Do:

What You Need:

• Age 18 or older
• 1 year of caregiving experience (within last 2 years) under RN supervision
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in patient homes
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Willing to complete background check & onboarding

Preferred (Not Required)

• Active HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification
• CPR and Adult First Aid certification
• Experience supporting seniors or medically complex clients
• Experience working with dementia or memory care patients
