Job summary

The Kroger Co. in Caldwell, ID is seeking a Store Associate to maintain check stand ends, displays, and gift cards, while delivering excellent customer service. You will stock merchandise, verify CAO orders, and ensure planograms and promotional standards are met.

You will collaborate with team members to manage inventory, price accuracy, and compliance with store policies in a fast-paced environment. This position is on-site at 10861 Highway 20/26, Caldwell, ID 83605.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 6 months of company experience plus 1–2 years of retail experience; or combination of education and experience.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Pass drug test
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend/graveyard shifts, early shifts, and overtime as needed
• Lift truck certification/license
• Proficient with company email
• Knowledge of CAO and planograms
• Able to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Maintain check stand ends, power panel, displays, and gift cards per schematic and provide customer service.
• Order and stock clips/swing displays, power panels and crossovers; verify CAO orders.
• Coordinate with other roles to establish minimums in CAO for impulse items.
• Ensure stockroom standards and pricing integrity.
• Receive and process freight; conduct stock counts and inventory controls.
• Maintain planograms, signage, ticketing standards and promotional adherence.
• Respond to customer comments/complaints in a timely manner.
• Adhere to corporate policies and company values.

Job description

Maintain the check stand ends, power panel (wing), outrigger, crossover merchandise, clip/swing (strip) displays, and gift card displays for the location and provide customer service. Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Order merchandise and maintain/stock all clips/swing (strips), power panels and check stand ends, crossovers and gift cards per schematic
• Verify Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) orders are complete
• Coordinate with HBA and GRO Order Clerk to establish Minimums in Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) for Impulse Items
• Comply with stockroom maintenance standards
• Order and maintain displays for cross-over merchandise
• Order off-shelf merchandise
• Maintain compliance with divisional signing, recovery, shrink control guidelines, merchandising standards, ticketing standards, planograms, and composites
• Receive and process freight
• Perform inventory control functions
• Verify promotions are set to standard
• Conduct stock counts
• Maintain accurate On Hands for Replenishment and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) items
• Verify accuracy in pricing integrity
• Comply with corporate policies
• Promote and follow Company initiatives
• Maintain awareness of overstock/understock conditions to maintain ordering system integrity
• Respond to verbal customer comments/complaints
• Maintain compliance of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) standards
• Verify all planograms are completed on time

Qualifications

Minimum

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of six months company experience and one-two years related retail experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends/graveyard shifts on an occasional basis, early shifts, and overtime as needed
• Maintain confidentiality
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
• Ability to perform applications in MAGIC and Handheld
• Proficient with current Company email
• Familiarity with industry/technical terms/processes
• Ability to work within set time frames/fixed deadlines
