Job summary

Kroger is seeking a store operations professional in Anchorage to assist in department management and maximize financial opportunities. You will model Kroger values, support scheduling, and supervise associates in the absence of managers.

You will implement safety standards, oversee merchandising, and uphold company policies while driving customer service excellence. Qualified candidates will have a GED, retail experience, ability to work weekends, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and 6 months Kroger experience with 1–2 years in retail.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and perform cashier functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, merchandising, and corporate policies.
• Verify in-stocks for basic and advertised merchandise.
• Monitor daily tours, 15-minute chart, and RMS replenishment.
• Oversee freight receiving and stocking standards; address maintenance needs.
• Respond to customer comments/requests and complete incident reports.
• Process salvage and handle store-wide transfer tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with associates to maintain inviting break rooms and training areas.
