Job summary

Responsibilities

• Promote corporate brands to customers
• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations
• Prepare produce platters and trays as needed
• Inform customers of produce specials and promotions
• Recommend items to ensure customers get what they want
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
• Report discrepancies to the department manager
• Maintain temperature logs and proper case temperatures
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks
• Follow directions and resolve customer issues with integrity
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults when appropriate
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodations
